We’re celebrating with a $100 GIVEAWAY!!!!!

Wooohoo!! It’s time to celebrate! Today, this post marks my 100th blog post!

100!!!! AHHHH! How did that happen?!

When I first started this blog over a year ago, it was initially intended as a place to store clean recipes. It quickly grew into an exciting hub where I’ve thoroughly enjoyed interacting with you as you share your ideas and tips for clean living.
I love tinkering in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and sharing them with you all! I am so appreciative of all of the support you have shown to me!

Now anyone who knows me knows I LOVE to celebrate! I thought this was the PERFECT occasion to celebrate YOU- my friends and blog followers! I want to thank you all for your support and encouragement with this blog!

To show my appreciation I have an AWESOME giveaway for you!

I am giving away a $100 VISA giftcard to one lucky person!

Clean Chocolate Milkshake

Have you seen the Tim Hortons billboard ads for their new “Frozen Hot Chocolate”?  Oh man!  They look soooooo good!  They had me at “chocolate”!  Since eliminating sugar from my diet I no longer crave sweets the way I once did.  BUT, when I drive by those billboards I suddenly feel tempted by the icy, frothy goodness!  I was experimenting in the kitchen today and came up with my own version of a frozen chocolate treat!  It turned out great!!  I can’t wait to make this on a hot afternoon!  If you are a chocolate lover like me, and have been missing it since eating clean- you will love this!!  🙂

2 Cups un-sweetend chocolate almond milk

4 Pitted dates

1/2 Tsp vanilla

1 Tbsp Cocoa powder

1/2 Tsp almond butter

2 Cups ice cubes

Pour all ingredients into a high powered blender and mix on high for at least 30 seconds.  Serve immediately!

This recipe would be great frozen into popsicles too!  I think I’ll try that next!

XO, Pam

Perfect Asparagus

My absolute favourite veggie side is asparagus! Asparagus is a tricky veggie to cook. If it is made properly it is crunchy, juicy and delicious, but if it is made incorrectly it is limp, stringy and chewy. The most important tip: never and I mean NEVER boil asparagus! 🙂 I’m not sure who first circulated […]

Not All Blenders Are Created Equal

Anyone who knows me knows that I cannot handle raisins in my baked goods. I don’t mind raisins on their own, but biting into a sweet treat and hitting a raisin gives me the heebie jeebies! It feels like you are biting into part of a worm body or a bug! Something about it is […]

Clean Pina Colada Smoothie

One of my favourites things about summer is having a deliciously refreshing cold drink on the deck on a hot afternoon! Hmmm I love lemonade and iced tea and especially pina coladas! Although these drinks are delicious, they are often packed with refined sugars! This smoothie recipe will hit the spot when you are craving […]

How To Clean Your House In 15 Minutes

Have you seen these little quotes posted all over Pinterest and Facebook? It seems like the days of covering your couches with plastic and cooking dinner in an apron and pumps are long gone. Not only are clean houses no longer the social norm, they can seem impossible to achieve! I would love to say […]
